Please read this waiver carefully before proceeding with your booking.
By participating in any activity organised by Millerstaxi, you agree to the following terms. This waiver is intended to protect Millerstaxi as an organisation. A digital acceptance of these terms is required when creating a new account.
1. You Accept All Risks
You acknowledge that paddling is a strenuous and inherently dangerous activity. You accept all risks, including but not limited to:
- •Hypothermia, sunstroke, and dehydration
- •Interactions with wildlife (jellyfish, seals, bluebottles, etc.)
- •Physical exhaustion, concussion, and drowning
- •Any other injury or accident
2. You Waive All Claims
You give up your right to sue Millerstaxi, employees, agents, or volunteers for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during the activity, or while being transported to the start of the activity.
3. You Indemnify Millerstaxi (You Cover Their Costs)
If anyone sues Millerstaxi, or if they incur legal costs, medical bills, or any other expenses arising from your participation, you agree to pay for all such costs and liabilities.
Mandatory Safety Rules
You must comply with the following rules at all times:
- •Always wear a PFD (lifejacket) and safety leash while paddling
4. Emergency Permission
You agree to pay for all associated medical costs, evacuation costs, repatriation, and any related expenses.
5. Legal Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from this waiver or participation in Millerstaxi activities will be handled under South African law in the Supreme Court of South Africa.
By creating an account or participating in any Millerstaxi activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver in full.
